Alana Pearce is an Associate at Burrill Watkins, where her practice focuses on healthcare and regulatory compliance, corporate, and employment law. She brings a steady hand and a clear, solutions-oriented approach to her work with medical practices, health service providers, and healthcare-adjacent businesses navigating today’s demanding legal landscape. Alana counsels clients on a wide range of matters, including HIPAA compliance, contract negotiation and enforcement, internal policy development, and corporate structuring.

Prior to joining Burrill Watkins, Alana gained valuable operational and legal experience working in the in-house legal departments of Lenovo and Tractor Supply Company, where she assisted in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, reviewing marketing and consumer communications for regulatory compliance, and helping to manage internal risk assessments and policy rollouts. Her work in these complex corporate environments gave her a strong foundation in cross-functional legal strategy, compliance operations, and the kind of nuanced, business-savvy perspective that informs her practice today.

Alana earned her J.D. from Regent University School of Law, where she focused on business and health law. She is known among clients and colleagues for her meticulous attention to detail, tireless work ethic, and her ability to distill regulatory complexity into actionable guidance. She is particularly adept at working with providers, administrators, and executives to align legal compliance with operational goals—whether structuring management services agreements (MSAs), advising on Stark and Anti-Kickback compliance, or negotiating vendor and employment contracts.

Her current practice includes supporting clients through:

  • Formation and restructuring of medical practices and MSOs
  • HIPAA and data privacy compliance programs
  • Drafting and reviewing provider agreements, commercial leases, and vendor contracts
  • Advising on internal policies, employee handbooks, and training programs
  • Corporate governance and regulatory reporting

A native of Franklin, Tennessee, Alana brings both warmth and professionalism to her practice. She understands the pressures faced by healthcare professionals and business owners alike and approaches each client engagement with clarity, precision, and compassion.

Outside of the office, Alana is an avid reader of fantasy novels, a regular at local coffee shops, and a fan of live music—often with Taylor Swift playing in the background.
